For over 100 years, community service is our reason to exist. We'll post our activities
here and you're more than welcome to join us if our activity is attractive
to you. An annual service project is the Day of Prayer and Action for Children
that is held on November 20th each year.
Initiatiated in 2010 by UNICEF, the Day of Prayer and Action for Children
fits our stated focus: "Young Children Priority One." We have partnered with UNICEF to complete our second World Wild Service Project, Project Eliminate. After funding our program to put an end to Iodine Deficiency Disorder in the under developed world, we have worked to end Maternal Neonatal Tetanus. Of course, we can't ingore the obvious connection: "A Day of Prayer and Action for Children." Earlier in 2019, our club was represented at the 104rd Kiwanis International Convention at Disney World in Orlando FL. Next year, we meet in Indianapolis IN On September 18, 2019 we officially recognize our 100 years of community service with a Gala Celebration held at Ed. Oliver's Golf Club.
